Our featured class this month is Group Blast. This is a 60-minute energetic cardio workout using the STEP to train fitness, agility, coordination, and strength. This is NOT your mama’s step class! It’s a sports-inspired cardio alternative to walking, running, or stair climbing because you will do it all: walk, jog, run, jump, plyometrics, balance drills, lateral drills, and quickness drills -- all on and off the STEP. The intensity of this workout is easily managed with the many exercise options and the adjustability of the STEP. This is a great workout for anyone, whether you are new to exercise or are an athlete in training.
Living in a military town means we often have to say farewell to some of our favorite group fitness instructors. This May we bid adieu to Aillene Aquino, Dawn Blom, Annie Hudson, Sarah Jennings, Julie Lyons, and Holly Wallace.
