Greetings Leavenworth Members! Below is our January Group Fitness news. Please make sure to follow our facebook page for ongoing updates too!
We begin January by welcoming 2 new instructors to our team. Kathy Barnette will be joining us to teach Zumba on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm. We also welcome Linda Garlinger to the team, Linda will be an aqua class substitute. Please help us welcome them to the Genesis Family!
Genesis Lawrence will be hosting a Group Power training in January. Team Leavenworth will be sending several new instructors to this training, so be on the lookout in the coming months for new faces team teaching with familiar ones! If you are interested in attending the training, it’s not too late! See Trisha Roe for sign up information.
We will be adding several new classes to our schedule beginning January 12th. Kim G will be adding her Group Blast on Sundays at 10am. Tina will also be adding a Yoga Basics class Wednesdays at 9:30am.
Genesis Swimming lessons will begin on the 5th of January. We have classes for children ages 6 months and up. Signs up are at the front desk. Private lessons for both children and adults are available upon request.
Genesis will be hosting a cycle instructor training on Sunday, January 11th. Please note there will be NO 8am Group Ride that day.
Our MOSSA launch dates for our quarterly releases are fast approaching! Group Ride will launch Monday, January 10th at 5:30pm, Group Power Saturday, January 17th at 10am, Group Kick Monday, January 19th at 4:30 and Group Blast Tuesday, February 3rd at 4:30.
This month we are highlighting our wonderful yoga instructor Tina Thomas. Tina will be adding a Yoga Basics class to the new schedule. The first class will take place Wednesday, January 14th at 9:30am.
