Greetings West 13th Members!  Below is our September Group Fitness news.

Please make sure to follow our facebook page for ongoing updates too!

Staff Changes

Angie Locke received her Masters in Library Sciences and we are sad to say that she has left us to pursue that!  We wish her the best!

There are 2 new instructors at West 13th!  Corri Lewellen teaches Fit Life and Zumba and is doing an awesome job!  She comes to us from Missouri!  Missouri’s loss is Genesis’ gain.

Some of you might remember Alisa [Flanigan] Franco from the early days at West 13th!  She was a great instructor then, and is an even better instructor now.  She will be teaching Yoga and Group Power for us on a regular basis very soon!  Welcome to Corri and Alisa!

New Class Coming Soon

In our quest to continue to bring you World Class Group Fitness, we are bringing Group Blast soon, brought to us by MOSSA/Body Training Systems!

Utilizing the step in many positions and heights, this compelling 60 minute cardio program strengthens and shapes the lower body, one step at a time. Energetic music and motivating instructors create this spunky group experience. Step this way with Group Blast.

What is Group Blast?

Utilizing the step in many positions and heights, this compelling 60 minute cardio program strengthens and shapes the lower body, one step at a time. Energetic music and motivating instructors create this spunky group experience. Step this way with Group Blast.

What is Involved in a Class?

Group Blast utilizes the step as an effective training tool and encourages self-regulated progression by changing step heights. Athletic movements are set to emotive music, creating a simple, fun and effective way to cardio train and strengthen the lower body all within a group environment. The class starts with a fun warm-up, followed by eight songs with specific training objectives, and ends with a well-earned stretch.

Who is Group Blast For?

Group Blast is for anyone who wants an energetic, exciting and results-oriented step workout.
New exercisers will appreciate the many options available in Group Blast. From step height to movement variations, the intensity is up to you!
Group Blast is great for cross training or for those who would like to add variety to their routine.
Group Blast will appeal to both the experienced and new stepper because it is less complex than many step classes in recent years. We’ve taken out the fancy stuff and put back the fun!

You will love this class that can be modified for all fitness levels!  Keep watching for updates on class demos and when it will be added to the regular schedule!

For any questions or concerns about our classes or schedule please don't hesitate to contact me!
