Kids Swimming Lessons
With a low instructor to child ratio, children are sure to receive the attention and personalized instruction they need to improve their swimming skills. The instructional approach familiarizes children with the water and encourages independent skill development. Classes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced swimmers are held year round at the Rock Road and West Central Genesis locations.

Session #1 - June 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17
10-10:30 am – Beginner I (1 1/2-2 yr olds…never taken lessons before and are hesitant to get in the water)
10:30 – 11am – Beginner II (2+…taken lessons before and not afraid of water at all)
11-11:30am – Intermediates
Session #2 – July 6, 8, 11, 3, 15, 18
10-10:30 am – Beginner I
10:30 – 11am – Beginner II
11-11:30am – Intermediates

Swim Lesson Class Descriptions
Beginners
In this class, students will hold breath for 6 seconds, jump in at a point without support, flutter kick on front and back 10 yards with or without buoy, back float from the wall no support, swim on front 3 yards no support, front and back glide 2 body lengths.
Intermediates
Students must be able to pass out of all items in beginner class to move into intermediates. Intermediates will learn, rhythmic breathing, jump into deep water, retrieve object on the bottom of the pool, and coordinate the front crawl and back crawl strokes also beginning diving from side of pool.
