Genesis Health Clubs in Salina is a new, state-of-the-art workout facility with an interior atmosphere that is both beautiful and inspiring. This new Salina fitness center offers strength training, light free-weights and a complete cardio area with treadmills, bicycles, Elliptical trainers, StairMasters and Stepmills and more.

The Salina Genesis features three group fitness studios including Pilates/yoga studio, a high-tech cardio area with individual video monitors at each machine, comprehensive strength and weight training area, a cycling studio, stretching areas, two racquetball courts, luxurious locker rooms, Shake This! smoothie bar, Wi-Fi Internet Access, Towel Service, and Child Care.

Thiago has over 20 years of tennis experience. Started playing tennis at the age of 4. Originally from Brazil, Thiago was one of the top ranked players in his home country until the age of 15. After that, Thiago focused mostly on prize-money tournaments until the age of 19, when he decided to come to the United States to pursue his college career. Thiago played for 4 years at Wichita State University and graduated Summer 2009 with a double major in Management and International Business. As a Wichita State player, Thiago holds a top 10 position of All-Time Most Wins in Singles in the school history. Thiago was also named Three-Time Missouri Valley Conference player (2006, 2007, 2008).

Thiago started his career as a tennis professional at Genesis Health Clubs in 2009. In 2010, Thiago moved to Salina to take the position of Director of Tennis at Genesis Health Clubs. In 2011, Thiago was awarded the Outstanding Contributor to Youth High Performance Program for the Kansas District Tennis Association (KDTA). Thiago has worked with several top players who have gone to play college tennis on a athletic scholarship.

Thiago comes from a tennis family. His father, Gilberto, introduced tennis to the family. His mother, Marina manages a tennis academy back in Brazil. He is the middle son of three children along with Cinthya and Eduardo.
