How to make Easter special during this Stay-at-Home Order!

We’ve never had an Easter quite like this, or any holiday celebration for that matter. This year we are faced with finding new ways to celebrate Easter while also staying safe in our homes or cars. We hope you are all staying safe and healthy and we want to give you some tips on things you can do on Easter from the safety of your home.

Put together a Social Distance Friendly Egg-Hunts!

It’s fun and easy to put together an Easter Egg-Hunt for you children in your own backyard. But take a step further and create a social distancing friendly hunt in your neighborhood! Get some neighbor kids and their parents involved and have everyone create a sign or two and then “hide” them around the neighborhood. Then have everyone go around and try to find each other’s signs and take pictures and post them in a Facebook event or group. This is a fun way to get out and about but staying safe in your car.

Have a Social Distancing safe Easter Get Together!

There are many ways to still see you loved ones on Easter. Just a few ideas are:

  1. Get on a Web Chat Room like Zoom or Facebook Messenger. This allows you to see each other and have “face-to-face” conversations with your loved ones while staying safe in your home.
  2. Gather at a mutual place in your car. If you keep your car at a safe distance, you can have some nice conversations this way.
  3. Drop food off to the elderly and wave to them from your car. Some Parents and Grandparents might not have the opportunity to get out at all. This way they can get a nice Easter dinner and see your lovely faces from afar.

Buy Local!

Our local businesses are working hard for you changing up the way they do things so they can stay afloat during these hard times. Find a local restaurant that’s doing curbside pickup and support them while also getting a delicious meal for Easter.

Times are hard and we have to be creative sometimes! Hopefully this helps make your Easter a joyful one!
