Keeping the Club Safe Together
We are incredibly excited to reopen, again sharing health and fitness with our members and keeping people fit and healthy in the community.
As we begin the process of returning to normal, we have two goals:
- To keep our members safe and do everything we can to keep you healthy and your immune systems strong
- To comply with every regulation, rule, and guidance possible to ensure that we are able to stay open in the long run
In order to make both goals happen, we need your help.
We have dramatically increased our cleaning and sanitization protocols, introduced screening measures, developed systems and protocols for social distancing, invested tens of thousands of dollars in cutting edge air filtration systems, and added new staffing roles to make sanitization thorough, automatic, and routine.
We’re also asking our members to chip in and help, as we’re all in this together. Your actions can help stop the spread of coronavirus, keep other members healthy, and keep our clubs and communities open. For that reason, we’ve adopted a new member code of conduct.
Member Code of Conduct
- Do not come to the club if you have a temperature of 100.4 degrees or greater, or have any symptoms of coronavirus, including chills, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, headache, sore throat, or muscle ache. Current symptoms can be found at the CDC website
- Disinfect every piece of equipment before and after use. This includes equipment in group fitness classes. This keeps other members safe, and keeps you safe
- Maintain safe social distance of at least six feet. When waiting, take a big step back. Use every other piece of equipment. Step aside when you pass someone in a hallway. Every little bit helps
- Support our team as they monitor and enforce safety protocols. This includes having your temperature taken upon arrival, listening to instruction on social distancing and sanitization, and any other related concerns. They are doing their job to keep everyone safe, and your teamwork will make that easier to accomplish
- Bring your own yoga mat, straps, and blocks when taking a yoga class
Additional Helpful Measures You Can Take
- Wear a mask. If you are able and comfortable, this will help reduce your risk, but will reduce risks to others even more. Since many people are asymptomatic carriers, blocking coughs and sneezes with a mask can help prevent a seemingly healthy infected person from inadvertently spreading the virus. Always follow local guidance and regulations on mask wearing
- Wash or sanitize your hands frequently. Hand sanitizer helps, but soap and water for at least 20 seconds destroys the coronavirus
- Avoid touching your face
- Whether you’re wearing a mask or not, try to cough or sneeze into the inside of your elbow and wash your hands thoroughly after
- Be respectful. Even though you may be young and healthy, not everyone is & some are very nervous about the virus. Doing your part to help stop the spread of this disease will help things return to normal faster and help us to stay open. It also minimizes the risk to your fellow members, your loved ones, as well as people you have never met
