Reopening & COVID-19 Protocols

Our Miramont South club is open!

While we were closed, we made many key improvements to keep you safe and healthy while you exercise, including:

  • No fevers. Every staff member and guest will have their temperature taken when they arrive. Anyone with fever or other symptoms will be asked to stay home.
  • Space to breathe. Our large facilities give us the room to space you out so you can do your workout with at least six full feet of social distance. We’re strategically blocking off equipment, limiting the size of group exercise classes, and requiring that members in the weight room only use every other machine.
  • Cleaner Air. We’ve invested heavily in cutting-edge, virus-eliminating technology, and have added advanced oxidation air purification systems to the busiest areas of every club. This reduces your risk by killing viruses and bacteria in the air and on surfaces all day long. Natural ionized advanced oxidizers are released directly into the air to purify oxygen and surfaces, so you can breathe easy. Learn more here.
  • Comprehensive Sanitization. We regularly disinfect and sanitize with a deep cleaning each day. We are also asking all personal trainers and members to sanitize before and after each equipment use. We’ve added more hand sanitizer, spray bottles, and other products to make sure every surface stays sanitized throughout the day.
  • Member Code of Conduct. All members will be asked to do their part by disinfecting before and after each equipment use, maintaining safe social distance, staying home when sick, and doing everything they can to protect those around them. Together, we’ll help stop the spread of this virus in our communities.

Q: Are there new hours? Is Kid's Club open?
A: To see the temporary hours for the club and for Kid's Club, click “Gym Hours” on this page. To ensure the safety and health of everyone, Kid's Club will adopt the following:

  • Team Members are required to wear masks
  • Children 3+ are encouraged to wear masks
  • We are only serving children 6m+.
  • Opening with reduced hours, operating during peak hours to start
  • Operating with a reduced capacity
  • Children are required to have their temperature checked upon arrival *This will occur at Kids Club
  • Handwashing is required upon arrival and departure.
  • Climbing structures are not available for use at this time.
  • Toys, surfaces, etc. will be sanitized between uses.
  • Snacks will no longer be provided. Outside snacks are welcome.

Q: Will group exercise classes continue?
A: Yes! Though we expect them to be closed for the first week while we obtain a variance allowing for our larger square footage from Larimer County. We will follow social distancing guidelines, so some classes may have a smaller capacity than usual. We have added a new reservation system through our online member portal.

Q: Do I have to reserve a spot to attend class?
A: You do not have to reserve a spot, space permitting. However, those who reserve a spot will be guaranteed entry into the class. Walk-in slots will be first-come, first-served.

Q: Do I need to wear a mask?
A: Per Larimer County regulations, members must wear a mask when entering the club and not exercising, though may remove it if/when it creates difficulty with fitness activities.

Q: Are the pools and locker rooms open?
A: The pools are open and ready to use. The locker rooms are also open, but the saunas and steam rooms will remain closed in Phase II.

Q: When will Fort Collins Club reopen?
A: It will reopen upon completion of construction. We expect to be able to announce an approximate date and additional details soon. We plan to have a members-only soft reopening in the month of June. The remodeled facility will be absolutely beautiful and worth the wait.

Q: Will summer camps be open?
A: Yes! More information can be found here.

Q: What clubs can Fort Collins Club members use while their club is closed?
A: Good news! Fort Collins Club members will receive a temporary upgrade at no additional charge to premier access so they may use any of the Fort Collins or Loveland area Genesis Health Clubs locations until FCC reopens.

Q: Will there be any additional changes?
A: Federal, State, and Local guidance is changing very frequently, so keep an eye on this page for the latest updates. We will keep it updated as we learn more and any changes may become necessary. Thank you for your patience, and we can’t wait to see you in the club!
