Youth Programs

No School Day Camp

 

The following Youth Programs are included with your Family Membership. Children must be listed on the membership. Non-Members are welcome for $40 per class per month.

 

Classes and Class Times:

Tuesdays:

Bootcamp – 6:15-7:00pm – Basketball Court – Ages 5-11 – A high energy fun filled exercise class for kids. This class strives to increase the overall health and fitness level of children in a fun, safe, positive and motivating environment by utilizing obstacle courses, fitness games, partner activities, body weight exercises, resistance bands, circuits and more.

Wednesdays:

Yoga – 5:00-5:45pm – TBA – Ages 5-11 – Yoga increases strength, flexibility, coordination, self-awareness, and self-esteem. Yoga poses inspire creativity as well as provide a sense of calmness and relaxation. Yoga philosophy encourages teamwork and teaches respect, compassion and sharing. This class presents an opportunity for kids to get together to have fun with movement & become mindful of themselves and the world around them.

Thursdays:

Racquetball – 5:30-6:15pm – Court 1 – Ages 5-11 – Children will learn fundamentals, skills, drills, rules of Racquetball, and spend time playing the game

Saturdays:

Kickboxing – 9:00-9:45am – Racquetball Ct 4 – Ages 5-11 – This exciting class will teach the fundamentals of kickboxing in a fun and safe environment.

Turf Time – 9:00- 9:45am – Turf – Ages 5-11 – This class is designed to be a group fitness class for youth. Our trainer will lead exercises that work on coordination & cardio along with stretching and flexibility. Join us on the Turf Saturday mornings! Tennis shoes required!

 

ADDITIONAL YOUTH PROGRAMS AVAILABLE

(There is an additional charge for these classes)

Tuesdays:

Tumbling – 9-9:45am – Junior Gym – Preschoolers – must be potty trained. A great opportunity for the pre-gymnast to learn proper gymnastic and tumbling techniques in addition to body awareness skills in a fun-filled class. Classes include stretches, floor work & the balance beam. $25 per month for Members/$40 for Non-Members

Fridays:

Gym & Swim (only available to members) – 6-9pm – Select Fridays (see registration form for dates) – Pool, Jr Gym & Loft – Perfect for kids ages 3+ – Must be potty trained. Friday nights are the perfect nights to get away while your kids swim & have dinner along with organized activities! Price is $20 for first child, $15 for second child, $10 for each additional child.

Swim Conditioning

Children work to perfect swimming skills and increase endurance. Choose from one, two, or three days per week. Space is limited to 30. This program runs month to month during the school year September through May. Workouts are Monday and or Wednesday from 5:00pm-6:00pm. Fridays are held from 4-5 p.m.

Junior Gym

The Junior Gym is available for children ages 5-11 years, while at least one parent is at the Lincoln Racquet Club. Featuring a basketball court, a HUGE climbing maze, and many other activities, the Junior Gym is a favorite for Racquet Club kids. Socks are required.

Mon – Thurs: 8:30am – 12:00pm | 4:00pm – 8:00pm
Friday: 8:30am – 12:00pm | 4:00pm – 7:00pm
Sat: 8:00am – 12:30pm
Sunday: 1:00pm – 6:00pm

 

Summer Speed & Strength Program

This 8-week training program will focus on developing proper running mechanics, increasing jumping capabilities, proper lifting techniques, and more. Each class will focus on developing specific aspects of performance. Utilization of the entire club will develop the athlete during the summer program. The use of the turf area, gym, treadmills and other equipment will allow for proper coaching and development this summer.
