CPRO Review Only (For Lifeguards)

This class is to be taken every year as a lifeguard per NYS requirements to work at any pool or waterfront.

The course will be taught in compliance with the COVID-19 Social Distancing guidance issued by the American Red Cross. This includes requirements for class-size limitations, physical separation of at least 6 feet, use of individual manikins and AEDs for each student, and strict disinfecting and personal hygiene requirements. Soap and hand sanitizer will be available.

This is a comprehensive CPR, AED, and First Aid course for laypersons who desire or require first-responder-level training.

Lifeguard Training Prep

In four days, we will help you improve your swim technique and endurance while practicing some of the skills required to pass the course. Don’t let the pressure of the unknown stop you from being prepared!

Waterfront Lifeguarding

American Red Cross Waterfront Lifeguarding is ideal for lifeguards working in non-surf, open-water environments such as lakes and rivers, as well as traditional pools.

The course teaches professionalism, patron and facility surveillance, rescue board techniques, emergency preparedness, and more. This course includes certification for pools.
