Wichita, Kansas; February 15, 2015 – Genesis Foundation for Fitness and Tennis (GFFT) Board of Directors concluded a thorough search process by selecting Lacey Mills as GFFT’s new Executive Director.

An experienced leader in the non-profit sector with an outstanding track record of delivering results, Mrs. Mills recently spent the last three years with the Muscular Dystrophy Association, growing their fundraising efforts in Central and Western Kansas. At MDA, she gained valuable experience working with local sponsors on multiple fundraising campaigns, new business development as well as managed an array of services provided to local families by the organization. Lacey demonstrated a remarkable ability to effectively build relationships with families and local sponsors to grow fundraising efforts, experience the GFFT Board deems critical for the future of their non-profit organization.

GFFT provides funds to financially disadvantaged and at-risk youth, regardless of background and means, allowing them to have the opportunity to participate in recreational and/or competition fitness activities. The Foundation will provide this funding to at-risk, disadvantages and otherwise under-funded youth. GFFT is designed to support and encourage physical activity among young people by providing funding to applicants based on the basis of need, commitment and public benefit.
