Kid's Mixed Martial Arts & Programming Available!
Our program has several benefits for children: self-defense, confidence, and tools to protect themselves if necessary. We promote physical fitness and help develop strength, endurance, and coordination. Our training will improve discipline and focus as it requires concentration and attention to detail. Kids in our program work together to improve their skills, fostering a sense of camaraderie and teamwork. Our program is designed to be an engaging, enjoyable, challenging physical activity that transforms into a life skill
From Kid's Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) to Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu, there's something for all ages and all skill levels to get started and enjoy. Our programs are designed to be safe for kids' developing brains, with no head blows allowed. Parents can rest assured knowing their child is learning a brand new skill and finding a new healthy passion in our safe and welcoming environment, where expert professionals lead every class.

Self-Defense Summer Sports Clinic
Our East Harry location, as well as our West 13th location, is hosting 7 weeks of Self-Defense Sports Clinic this summer. You can register your child for just one week, or multiple!
Teach them important skills to protect themselves while they build their confidence, stay active, and make new friends this summer.

East Harry Martial Arts Class Descriptions
Jiu-Jitsu
Jiu-Jitsu is a martial arts class used for both sport and self-defense that focuses on controlling and submitting an aggressor or opponent by utilizing positional dominance, joint manipulation, and chokeholds.
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)
Mixed Martial Arts is a full combat class that allows striking and grappling, both while standing and on the ground, using skilled techniques from various combat sports and martial arts.
Wrestling
Wrestling is a sport of grappling with an opponent trying to throw or hold them on the ground to gain position dominance.
Kid's Self-Defense
At Genesis East Harry, we offer the most fun self-defense classes, where children will learn how to defend themselves in a fair and skillful way. This class will cover the basics of wrestling, boxing, MMA, and jiu-jitsu.
Kid's MMA
Our Kid's Mixed Martial Arts class is designed for children from ages 5-15 years to teach the basic principles of jiu-jitsu, submission grappling, kickboxing, and boxing, focusing on sport, self-defense, discipline, and conditioning. This kid class is a preparatory class for adult MMA once the child reaches 16 years of age.
