Located inside Genesis Miramont South, our preschool in Fort Collins has provided nurturing, play-based programs for 3-year-olds and Pre-K children since 2005. Caring teachers guide hands-on learning, creative exploration, movement and meaningful social experiences that help children build confidence and prepare for kindergarten.

What a Day Feels Like

Every day brings a thoughtful balance of learning, movement, creativity and connection. Children follow a consistent routine while enjoying new activities, stories and opportunities to explore.

Children begin the morning with time to explore the classroom, choose activities and connect with friends as everyone arrives.

The class gathers for stories, songs and an introduction to the day’s theme, helping children practice listening and participating as a group.

Hands-on centers encourage children to explore art, early literacy, math, science, sensory activities, dramatic play and fine-motor skills.

Children take a break for a nut-free snack and enjoy opportunities to move, play and build coordination.

The class comes together for a final story and a review of the day’s activities before morning pickup.

Optional Lunch Bunch and extended-day programming give children more time to eat with friends, play and participate in enrichment activities.

PROGRAMS & ENROLLMENT DETAILS

Our preschool in Fort Collins offers flexible options designed to meet children at their current stage of development. Explore program eligibility, schedules and enrollment details below, then complete the registration form to get started.

Our 3-Year-Old Preschool provides a positive introduction to the classroom through purposeful play, hands-on learning, movement and social experiences.

Families may choose from two-day, three-day or five-day enrollment options. Children are encouraged to be potty trained.

Our five-day Pre-K program strengthens school-readiness skills and helps children prepare for a successful transition to kindergarten. Partial-week schedules may be accommodated based on availability.

Children must be 4 years old by October 1 and fully toilet trained.

Genesis Miramont South is a participating Colorado Universal Preschool provider. Eligible children may receive free tuition for the year immediately before kindergarten. Children repeating Pre-K are not eligible for Universal Preschool funding but may enroll through the private-pay option.

Families may add optional care beyond the core preschool program:

  • Lunch Bunch: Children bring a nut-free lunch and eat with their classmates.
  • Extended Day: Additional time for free play and active enrichment.

Enrollment is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. A nonrefundable registration fee and annual supply fee apply.

Member tuition is available to families with an active Genesis membership. Non-member tuition applies to guests and families with canceled or frozen memberships.

Submitting the online form begins the registration process but does not guarantee placement. Our preschool team will contact you to confirm availability, provide the remaining paperwork and arrange payment.

No. Genesis Preschool is open to both members and non-members. Active Genesis members receive preferred tuition rates.

We offer a 3-Year-Old Preschool program and a Pre-K program for children preparing to enter kindergarten. Pre-K children must be 4 years old by October 1.

Children entering the 3-Year-Old Preschool are encouraged to be potty trained. Children enrolled in Pre-K must be fully toilet trained.

The 3-Year-Old Preschool offers two-day, three-day and five-day options. PreK is offered five days a week; partial week schedules may be accommodated based on availability. Current days, times and tuition are listed in the registration section.

Snacks are coordinated through the class and must meet state health requirements. Genesis Preschool is nut-free. Children participating in Lunch Bunch should bring a nut-free packed lunch.
