Junior Clinics
Provides lessons for ages 4-17, and every skill level from beginner to advanced tournament player.
Levels: Red Ball 1 & 2, Orange Ball 1 & 2, Green Ball 1 & 2, Yellow Ball 1 & 2

Red Ball 1
FOR BEGINNERS AGES 4-6
Students learn the basics of tennis movements such as hand-eye and foot coordination through fun games. No experience is required.

FOR BEGINNERS AGES 6-8
Students learn more advanced tennis skills, such as the basics of the different tennis strokes, as well as score keeping and basic rules. No experience is required.

Orange Ball 1
FOR BEGINNERS / ADVANCED BEGINNERS AGES 9-10
Designed to get young players rallying and playing points. Emphasis is placed on developing the fundamentals of basic stroke technique, footwork skills, as well as proper court positioning, and basic tennis strategy. No experience is required.

Orange Ball 2
FOR INTERMEDIATES AGES 7-9
Building upon the skills learned in previous clinics, students further refine their stroke technique and game strategy through the use of competitive games and drills to simulate true match conditions. Completion of Orange Ball Beginner/Advanced Beginner (or equivalent - see club/instructor) is required. Students must be able to rally and serve.

Green Ball 1
FOR BEGINNERS / ADVANCED BEGINNERS AGES 10-13
Students learn the basics of tennis strokes and movement. Emphasis is placed on getting the students to rally and learn the basic rules of the game. No experience required.

Green Ball 2
FOR INTERMEDIATES AGES 8-10
Students begin to learn more complex footwork and stroke technique. The basics of match play and scoring is introduced, and an emphasis is placed on developing students to be able to begin under true match conditions. Completion of Green Ball Beginner/Advanced Beginner (or equivalent - see club/instructor) is required. 90-min clinic. Students must be able to rally and serve.

Yellow Ball 1
FOR BEGINNERS AGES 12-17
Students learn the basics of tennis strokes and movement. Emphasis is placed on getting the students to begin rallying. No experience required. 90-min clinic.

FOR INTERMEDIATES AGES 11-17
Students learn more complex footwork, stroke mechanics, and strategy during rallies. In this class, students are also introduced to the basics of match play and scoring. 90-min clinic.

12 & U Elite / 14 & U HP
Designed for children who have successfully transitioned out of green ball and want to move on to yellow ball and compete. Sessions encompass intermediate movement (general and tennis-specific), stroke technique, and basic strategy in a fun and competitive environment.

This clinic is designed for competitive players with a UTR rating of 4.0 or below who are competing in yellow ball tournaments, ages 9-14.
Training involves footwork and movement, technical drilling, situational point play, and regular match point play.

HP Orange & Green Ball
Live ball point play in a fun and dynamic setting. Drilling and competitive match play experiences to improve all areas of gameplay from consistency/control to strategy development & execution.

High-Performance Orange Ball
Designed to prepare students for tournament play. The class focuses on advanced tennis skills and strategy to get students competing at a high level as soon as possible. Completion of Orange Ball Intermediate (or equivalent) is required.

High-Performance Green Ball
For kids currently competing at the green ball level. This class focuses on advanced stroke and match technique and places emphasis on the transition of students to the yellow ball level. Completion of Green Ball Intermediate (or equivalent) is required.

High Performance
A comprehensive, world-class Junior Tennis training program that encompasses the critical technical and tactical areas of player development to provide complete development of the junior competitive player. Low student/instructor ratio.
High Performance focuses on live ball point play in a fun and dynamic setting. Each day, a theme will be executed through drilling and competitive match-play experiences. Players will see improvement in all areas of their game, from consistency/control to strategy development and execution.
Led by HP Director and USPTA Professional Roberto Aspillaga.

One-week camps throughout the summer that focus on tennis instruction and fun! Grand Slam camps offer full-day and half-day options at both Blairwood and LTC. High School Prep camps are half-days at LTC.

Grand Slam Camps at LTC
For ages 5 - 18
Grand Slam Tennis Camps focus on fundamental stroke techniques, reviewing and practicing a new stroke every day. By the end of the week, all strokes have been covered. Every day ends in an exciting match play environment. Players are grouped by skill level and in age-specific groups.

High School Prep Camps at LTC
For ages 13 - 18
The High School Prep Camps focus on skill refinement, practice, and match play to develop consistent, well-rounded tennis players. From the 8th grader looking to play high school tennis to the seasoned high school player, each player is taught through personal attention and repetition in an enjoyable, challenging tennis camp atmosphere with players at his/her level.

Tennis-Specific Fitness Training
For ages 8-13 or 14-18.
Provides tennis-specific strength and movement training instruction.
Designed to get your junior player in peak performance shape! To play your best, you need speed, agility, coordination, strength, and mobility. The LTC Tennis-Specific Fitness Program is designed with age-appropriate exercises that improve all those skills, plus balance and tennis-specific footwork.
All classes are led by Roberto Aspillaga, LTC Director of HP & Tennis Specific Fitness and Certified Tennis Performance Specialist (CTPS), and Miguel Reyes, Certified Tennis Performance Trainer (TPT).

Intro to Strength
Ages 8-13
Self body weight exercises, light medicine ball, core, beginner suspension exercises, isometric exercises, intro to shoulder and hip mobility.
Advanced Tennis Specific Strength
Ages 14-18
Advanced single-leg, core, and medicine ball tennis-specific exercises, as well as some free weights. Every exercise is designed to strengthen muscle groups used in tennis in order to avoid injury and improve performance.
