Indoor Tanning Bed Facts:
- For individuals who can develop a tan, moderate tanning is the most innovative way to maximize the potential benefits of sun exposure while minimizing the potential risks associated with either too much or too little sunlight.

- UVA and UVB waves have specific roles in the tanning process, determined by their effects on the skin. Melanin oxidizes and darkens the skin as it absorbs UV light, UVB stimulates the melanin, and UVA oxidizes the skin to cause the brown, tan effect.
Tanning Levels:
- Level 1 / 15 Minute
Premium phosphors offer slightly more UVB, which generates fast yet lasting tans. High-intensity bulbs with the recommended 10-minute time limit. Three facials for the maximum output of UVA for the healthier tan on that sensitive facial skin. - Level 2 / 12 Minute
