Health Club at the Ice Center Now Open!

We are proud to announce that we have opened the doors to our 10th Genesis Health Clubs location! It’s located in the upper level of the Wichita Ice Center at 505 West Maple. The club is open for workouts, but several areas are not yet ready and will open soon including locker rooms outfitted with steam rooms and the upscale Genesis finishings, an additional group fitness studio and the front desk that will house a Shake This! Smoothie Bar. Please come in through the main entrance on the north side and up the stairs and to the left is where the temporary entrance is located.

The health club houses the newest in cardio and strength training equipment as well as cycling and group fitness studios. Every piece of cardio in this new location includes internet connections with capabilities to download music and movies to your ipod or iphone. Cycling classes will begin very soon with the addition to more group fitness classes as the additional studio is completed. Personal Training will be offered at the Ice Center also. The fitness floor (cardio and weights) and the cycling studio is open. The showers in the first floor Ice Center locker rooms are open and available for use but will not include our traditional amenities.

The health club will be adjacent to ‘Zambonis’, a new sports bar also located upstairs at the Ice Center. Zambonis will serve 8 different types of beer on tap and include several large flat-screen TVs for sports viewing. It is sure to be a great hot spot for after your workout to chill and relax with friends! More information on Zambonis will be released soon as it nears completion.

The temporary hours for the Ice Center location are as follows:
Monday – Friday 11am – 8pm
Saturday 8am – 5pm
Sunday 10am – 5pm
The hours will change when the club construction is finalized and will be the same as all other clubs normal hours.
