Atlantis Preparatory School Enrichment Programs
Our philosophy is to develop the whole child.
Some children are naturally gifted in certain subjects, and others may need special attention. We work with your child's natural abilities to expand their view of the world in a supportive, caring, and interactive environment. The goal is to instill a passion for learning that will stay with your child throughout his or her life.
Our Enrichment Programs are open to both Atlantis Prep Students as well as other children in our community. These programs are wonderful additions after your child's school day.
Academic
EXTENDED DAY WITH MRS. DEVITO & MRS. GRODECK
Stay for lunch and join us for an extended day of extra learning and fun! This is a great opportunity to strengthen skills and reinforce our Junior Kindergarten curriculum.

PRINTING PREP
The class will move through different stages of fine motor skills in order to develop proper grip control. Children will learn through coloring, painting, beading, weaving, cutting, and other "pincer grasp" activities to strengthen those little hands!

Come join us for an afternoon of skill-building that focuses on the pre-reading and pre-math concepts for preschoolers. Games and art projects help make learning fun in this theme-driven classroom environment where self-directed learning, individualized academic coaching, and critical thinking are at the core of helping children improve and excel in their academic pursuits.

AP CHEER
A.P.S. LET'S GO EAGLES!!
Calling all cheerleaders... Join the AP Cheer Team, where you will cheer, jump, and dance with Atlantis Prep Pride. The cheer team will learn cheers, shouts, tumbling, stunts, and dances to perform. The coaches will help the team build self-confidence, improve pronunciation and memorization skills, and also teach many team-building skills. Cheerleaders will perform during the Spring Concert.

PREP SPORTS
Welcome to an early childhood sports sampler designed to give children experience in a variety of team sports, including basketball, floor hockey, t-ball, flag football, and soccer. The students will also learn and play basic "gym" style games. Come get some exercise while having a fun time!

Fine Arts & Exploration
PASSPORT ART
Join us as we travel the world and explore different cultures. We will listen to music and stories from countries across the great blue sea. Students will learn about many cultures and create artwork that is used to decorate and celebrate life around the world. We will even receive a passport stamp along our journey!

LITTLE DOODLERS
Join Miss Shannon in our art room as our young budding artists transform their simple doodles into works of art only they can create. Doodlers will develop new skills and talents during this class. They will use a variety of materials to produce unique creations. The children will work on developing fine motor, cognitive, and creative skills.

WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE
In this NEW club, we will learn about the wild things that live or have once lived on Earth. Each afternoon, we will explore a different habitat... from animals of the rainforest, common pets in our homes, to sea creatures, and everything in between. Let's read a book about safari animals, make a fun sea turtle craft, dig for fossils, learn how polar bears stay warm, and do lots of other fun things. Every week will be a different lesson on a distinct set of wild creatures.

MINI CHEFS
Get ready to follow simple recipes and make delicious food! Students will be provided with enjoyable hands-on basic "cooking experiences" together. The children will build on self-confidence as they successfully follow the recipes in class.
This class is not recommended for children with food allergies.

STAY & PLAY
Children can explore and play with other students in a classroom environment. This is a great opportunity for socialization and free play. This is a perfect enrichment for the children who need to transition to the 1:00 enrichments or to decompress and play with friends after a day of school.

LITTLE ROCKERS
Join us for the Winter Session of Music & Movement with our very own Mr. Matt. Students will have a blast while enjoying sing-a-longs, dance parties, and making music together with basic instruments.

PARENT & ME MUSIC
This Parent & Me Music Class is a great way for families with toddler-aged children to have fun with music together! Come join in where we will play interactive music and games in a group setting, promoting creativity and encouraging self-expression in a fun, engaging environment!
Parents guide their little ones to act out the songs with specific instructions & body motions that we learn in class! We will sing and dance to familiar classic kids' songs that have big actions to get everyone moving & grooving! In this class, we will play games and activities using props such as rhythm sticks, scarves, egg shakers, beanbags & more!!!

MUSICAL BABY & ME
Your little one is a natural-born music maker ready to start learning music from birth. Join Mr. Matt and enjoy lots of fun musical activities to support your baby's development while creating a powerful bond between you and your child. It's a great way to meet other young families who are at the same stage of life as you!
Connect with your little one and help him/her develop strong motor skills as you both learn, play, and grow together in this sensory-rich environment.
