With an emphasis on breath, core conditioning and body awareness, STOTT PILATES exercise is a safe and highly effective way to stretch, strengthen and streamline your body without building bulk or stressing your joints. Performed on a mat or specialized equipment, Pilates is a fitness regime for a lifetime. The perfect complement to life, Pilates exercises will leave you looking toned, feeling revitalized and moving with ease.

The Benefits

  • Increase muscular tone and endurance
  • Combine strength with flexibility
  • Develop balance and coordination
  • Improve posture and alignment
  • Heighten body awareness
  • Boost core strength and stability
  • Relieve stress and back pain
  • Prevent injury
  • Refine athletic performance

The Sessions

We recommend that everyone completes five introductory privates or semi-privates or enroll in the introductory Group Class to establish a foundation in the STOTT PILATES technique. This will allow us to evaluate your needs and personalize a program that will be most effective to you. After your five introductory sessions, the following options are available:

Private: one-on-one training
Semi-Private: two or three individuals working out together
Group Reformer Classes: Pre-arranged group classes. Maximum of 6 individuals.

The Instructors

We are proud of our outstanding team of instructors, all highly qualified fitness professionals certified in the STOTT PILATES method. All instructors have also been trained for Injury and Special Populations. Each instructor beings her own energy and rich experience into each session. We recommend working with more than one instructor to benefit from different teaching styles and accommodate your schedule.

Essential Reformer:

This equipment class provides students a solid foundation of correct technique and essential reformer exercises. It is designed to establish core strength and stability. Props will be incorporated to add variety. Great for beginners and continuing students who want a basic total body mat and reformer workout.

Reformer Challenge:

Using one of the most popular pieces of Pilates equipment, the reformer, this class increases strength, flexibility and core stability in a workout you will love as much as the results. Previous reformer experience or several Essential Reformer classes required for participation.

Athletic Conditioning:

This non stop Pilates fitness class challenges students using the reformed, jumpboard and a variety of props. Fast paced and exhilarating, this will improve strength, endurance and focus. Experienced students only – with instructor approval.
